Welcome to Sawston Village College

Welcome to the Sawston Village College website. We hope that it provides you with a comprehensive introduction to our values, expectations and ways of working.

The film below was conceived, written and scripted by pupils, to celebrate their experiences at Sawston Village College.  Pupils worked independently of teachers, in partnership with a professional film maker, to devise, film and produce it.  The results are exceptional and the pupils are rightly proud of their work, which showcases their talents and the values of the school.  For more information about ASPIRE, please follow the link below.

Results Day

Results Day is on Thursday 21 August and pupils are invited to come to the HMH to collect their results between 10.00 am and midday.  Any results envelopes not collected will be posted home via first class mail so that they arrive on Friday morning.  Pupils may ask someone else to collect results on their behalf.  However they must provide that person with written, signed consent, which they will be asked to produce before the results envelope is handed to them.

Uniform Sale

The second hand uniform sale on 8 August was a huge success. I would like to thank all of you who contributed by donating or purchasing second hand uniform. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the second hand shop will not open on 26 August.  I am making every effort to open the shop before the new term and a new date will follow. Please do continue to donate unwanted school uniform which can be left at reception during the summer holidays. Thank you once again for your continued support. Mrs V Nunn, Year 9 Pastoral Leader.
