Welcome to the Sawston Village College website. We hope that it provides you with a comprehensive introduction to our values, expectations and ways of working.
We are passionate about learning, about achievement and success in examinations and in providing a strong platform to enable our young people to progress to the next stage of their education, employment and training. But we also believe that school is about more than just GCSE results and that a broad and balanced education means engaging with the arts, participating in a wide variety of sporting activity, developing resilience and character and promoting in young people a sense of the excitement of learning, as they prepare to take their place as global citizens in a complex world. We believe we have an important mission in developing our future leaders, who are prepared to contribute positively to their shared community.
